Guide for the prevention of psychosocial risks at work

The aim of this guide is to help organizations and companies - including SMEs and very small enterprises - to establish a psychosocial risk prevention approach that fits into an overall policy of occupational risk management and in social dialogue.

The guide defines these risks, gives the prevention principles and describes in detail the steps to implement a genuine prevention policy.

The well-being of workers

The Act of 4 August 1996 on well-being of workers in the performance of their work and its implementing decisions apply to every employer who employs workers in Belgium.
This Act transposes into Belgian law the framework Council Directive 89/391/EEC of 12 June 1989 on the introduction of measures to encourage improvements in the safety and health of workers at work.
