Application for inclusion
The institution or employer wishing to submit an application for inclusion preferably send this by email to hua@werk.belgie.be (or by post: FOD Werkgelegenheid, Arbeid en Sociaal Overleg, Algemene Directie Humanisering van de Arbeid, Ernest Blerotstraat 1, 1070 Brussel)
This application must be accompanied by the following information and documents:
- the name and CBE number of the institution/employer
- the website of the institution/employer
- the name, address and telephone number of the contact person,
- the identity and capacity of the applicant, as well as their position within the institution
- the place where the teaching and practice materials are located
- information about the qualifications of the teachers: diplomas, experience, CV and the manner in which they keep their knowledge and skills up to date
- information regarding the courses used.
In order to be included in the list, the training organiser must directly call on teachers (own staff or self-employed persons). This means that an organiser that does not have its own teachers and that enters into an agreement with another, external organiser that does have its own teachers to provide the training, cannot be included in the list. The external organiser that is engaged can appear in the list.
The application must signed (electronically or otherwise) by a person charged with the management and organisation of the institution.
The application is free of charge.
The application procedure is available in Dutch, French and English.
You can complete the application using the online form in the 'Documentation' module: Application to be included in the list of institutions or employers that provide training and refresher training to care providers (DOCX, 85.36 KB).
Processing of the application
- The General Directorate for Humanisation of Work (HUA) checks whether the application is complete.
- HUA sends the application to the General Directorate for Monitoring the Well-Being of Workers in the Performance of their Work (TWW) for assessment, reporting and advice.
- In the event of favourable advice from TWW, the organiser will be included in the list published by HUA on the FPS website.
- When the conditions to be included in the list have not been met (for example, if after inspection by TWW, the content of the course is no longer considered adequate, if there are too many course participants per teacher, if a teacher no longer has the necessary skills, etc.) and the organiser has been given the opportunity to provide further explanation, the organiser may be removed from the list.
The time between the submission of the application for inclusion and inclusion in the list is on average 3 months. This period is an estimate and depends on the completeness and complexity of the application.
Appeal against the decision taken
If the decision is contested, an appeal for annulment (and a request for suspension) may be lodged with the Administrative Jurisdiction Division of the Council of State, in accordance with the procedure laid down in the Decree of the Regent of 23 August 1948, regulating the proceedings before the Administrative Jurisdiction Division of the Council of State.
