This list must be accompanied by copies of the diplomas of these staff members.
  • The full description of the premises (plan and equipment) and of the scientific equipment present.
  • A description of the scientific literature and documentation present.
  • copies of the quality documents.

For this, the information available on this website application form (DOC, 150 KB) can be used.

The application must be signed (electronically or otherwise) by a person charged with the management and organisation of the company.

The application is free of charge.

The application procedure is available in Dutch, French and English.

Any relevant changes made to this information during the accreditation period must be communicated to the General Directorate for Humanisation of Work, as soon as possible. The administration department may require the applicant to provide any additional documents and information useful for the investigation.

Processing of the application

Once the file has been determined to be complete, it must be submitted for investigation to the General Directorate for Supervision of Well-being at Work. Based on this investigation, the Minister will be advised on the application. The Minister decides on the accreditation.

The initial accreditation is granted for a maximum period of 3 years. The application for renewal of this accreditation must be submitted at least 6 months before the expiry of its term. The subsequent accreditation is granted for an indefinite period.

The time between the submission of an application for accreditation and the decision whether or not to grant accreditation is on average 6 months. This processing time is an estimate and depends on the completeness and complexity of the application.

Appeal against the decision taken

If the decision is contested, an appeal for annulment (and a request for suspension) may be lodged with the Administrative Jurisdiction Division of the Council of State, in accordance with the procedure laid down in the Decree of the Regent of 23 August 1948, regulating the proceedings before the Administrative Jurisdiction Division of the Council of State.
